Who am I and what is this site for?

I am Matthew Johnson, an ageing boomer living in western Sydney, Australia.

As I transitioned to retirement, I started a B.A. (English) at age 64, and studying English Literature inspired me to write poetry. Some of what I have written will appear here as I refine my capability and focus on my studies.

My work history is as an IT/Enterprise Architect, mainly in the Workplace domain. I was appointed an IBM STSM in 2009, and transitioned over to a Kyndryl Principal Engineer in 2021 where I finished my career in August 2026 as Cheif Architect, Workplace Security.
